We recently received an email from a customer.

The customer told us that after connecting the device correctly, successfully installing the driver, and ensuring that the screen recording permission is allowed. Display 1 fails to display images, while Display 2 and Display 3 work properly.

After our communication with the customer and troubleshooting, it is because the customer used a USB-C extension cord to connect our USB C to C cable (braided), which caused Display 1 of the DS808 to not work properly. After removing the extension cord, This problem can be solved.

Therefore, if you have correctly connected the device when using our Displaylink Docking Station (Model: DS808), successfully installed the driver, and ensured that the screen recording permission is allowed, but the above problem occurs.

In that case, please check if you have an extension cord, if you have, please remove it, our device does not support any extension cord to work.
